Renew Projects is proud to announce a significant milestone in its journey towards sustainability and community support. Having commenced operations in February 2024, Renew Projects has made a substantial charitable contribution of $3,000 to Pacific Link Housing.
This donation will directly improve the environmental sustainability of Pacific Link Housing’s affordable housing developments, including the recently completed 14-unit development in Canton Beach and over 80 additional units currently in the pipeline. The funds will support the integration of eco-friendly features such as solar energy networks, rainwater harvesting systems, and other sustainable initiatives across these properties.
Angus Ramsey, General Manager of Renew Projects, expressed enthusiasm about the company’s early success and its impact.
“It’s truly remarkable to contribute to Pacific Link Housing in such a tangible way so early in our journey. This donation underscores our commitment to not only provide quality renovation and maintenance services but also a business that invests its profit for a purpose.”
Llewellyn Visagie, Group Executive Manager Operations at Pacific Link Housing, highlighted the importance of this contribution.
“Renew Projects’ donation is not just financial support – it’s a crucial investment in our continued effort to incorporate sustainability in our operations and development projects. This aligns perfectly with our ESG goals, ensuring that we not only build affordable homes for people needing support but also contribute to a greener future for our community.”
The partnership between Renew Projects and Pacific Link Housing continues to set a precedent for how businesses can operate with a strong focus on environmental, social and governance (ESG) themes, paving the way for a sustainable future.
